Leah Wardlaw
Advisory Board Member
Leah Wardlaw is a second year master's student in Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention at Binghamton University in upstate New York. Her focus is on atrocity prevention and human rights education in primary and secondary schools. She has worked with a number of non-profit organizations in the past, including Human Rights Education Associates, the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, and Journey's End Refugee Services. Leah has also developed curriculum for the War Childhood Museum and contributed to publications for Sheffield Hallam University's forced labor research lab. Her current research is on how to implement an atrocity prevention lens into secondary school education in New York State.
